The Iceman Loves Snow - Dec 14th 7K 9am

Welcome Snow Fall
The Iceman in you loves snow.  Remember when we were kids we couldn't wait to get out and play in the snow.  That's what the Iceman in you remembers!
The coming snow fall is exciting to the Iceman in you.  Today make sure your running attire is complete.  You'll need warm gloves, head wear and some wool socks or equivilent. All these items are available for purchase locally if you don't already own them.  Go to a store that supplies multiple outdoor activities to find the best selections.   I've even worn plastic bags around my socks and put another layer of thin socks over that to run in the snow.  It keeps your feet "toasty".    Remember you'll have more fun if you take care of your extremeties when running in winter weather.
I've got a nice route through the neighborhoods but we might need to stay on Koke Mill and Iles to stay out of the deep snow for the run.  I'll be prepared for both situations in the morning.
As you watch the winter snow fall this evening think about how much fun you'l have playing in the snow Saturday morning!  After the run we'll have plenty of food and drink to keep the fun going at the Corner Pub.
See you in the morning!
